They Are Better Than You

Why do people get animals and then abandon or neglect them? I do not care what you think, leaving your dog outside all day when you are home and they are crying it is neglect whether you feed them or not. Animals have feelings. They need to feel loved and they need someone who cares enough to take care of them. If you aren't going to do that then why get one in the first place? How would you feel if you were left outside in the cold all day and night and never had any social interaction at all? It would not be a good feeling. I wish people would think about what they are doing to their pets before they choose to adopt them.
