I don't know about most people who claim to be Christian but I do know myself as a person who is trying so very hard to be like Christ and often failing that even though I may fail I am in fact trying. If you claim to be Christian first of all try to have some understanding of what that means. Jesus came to this sinful world, the only one on this Earth ever innocent of sin, and died so that we can live and be blameless before God through Him. He spent his years on this Earth with the outcasts and never cast a stone on anyone even though He was the only one that could. He was understanding, gracious and merciful. This is exactly what we as Christians should strive to do. We are supposed to love everyone regardless of his or her sin because we are not innocent of sin either, we are just forgiven. Judging and blaming is not going to win someone into the Kingdom of God. A sinner knows what their sin is, they don't need you to slap them in the face with it. You can help anyone with a few kind words. So, just maybe next you see someone who is lost and sinning offer them some encouragement instead of telling them they are going to hell. It really isn't up to you to decide where they spend eternity anyway. Think about that.
